Hales Group are currently seeking a Transport Manager for their client based Nr Diss who is commercially astute with an in-depth understanding of the logistics industry.

 

Duties are to include:-

 

Planning and coordinating the road haulage fleet  in and around the UK

Planning routes and schedules ensuring all services are completed on time and in the most effective way whilst working to company targets and guidelines

Working with suppliers and customers, managing contracts , dealing with any issues and requirements

Coordinating training

Managing staff

Creating performance reports for the directors

Arranging vehicle maintenance, MOT’s and tax payments

Organising vehicle replacements
