Hales Group are seeking a Design Engineer for their client based in Brandon, Suffolk.
You will need to have a good working knowledge of AutoCad Inventor and some experience of project management. Preparation of general arrangement and workshop drawings, preparing material schedules and standard order processing. An appreciation of production techniques to ensure designs are value engineered and practical to manufacture. Innovation is very important and the successful candidate will need to play a role in developing the product range.

Additional Comments :
Experience of electro-mechanical design with low voltage, battery powered systems would be an advantage. Experience of glazing systems would be desirable.
The role will include direct contact with client and responsibility for project management of bespoke and standard projects. Self motivated with the ability to set your own deadlines and ensure they are achieved.
