Hales Group are currently seeking a Claims Advisor for our client based in Letchworth, Hertfordshire.
To provide a first class level of claims customer service to all members, companies, hospitals and medical specialists primarily by telephone but also correspondence if required.
Key Accountabilities:
Respond to all claims telephone calls within defined service guidelines;
Provide accurate information either verbally or in writing in response to queries raised by members, companies, brokers, hospitals and medical specialists;
Administer all claims effectively and accurately;
Liaise with hospitals and the medical profession;
Essential Criteria:
Previous experience in a telephone based customer service environment;
Must have a strong customer focus, excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
Able to organise own workload and prioritise;
Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook;
Desirable Criteria:
Knowledge of the insurance market, especially private medical;
Knowledge of insurance principles
