Hales Group are looking for an Engineering Manager for our client based in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. Due to continued growth our client is seeking a production manager to control all manufacturing activities within the company.

As Engineering Manager your duties will include organising and managing overall manufacturing operations ensuring all products are fabricated, assembled and shipped as required to meet customer schedules and quality requirements. Manage staff and work output within 5 engineering sections, Continually evaluate and improve manufacturing processes and track all employee performance and give employee appraisals at designated intervals. You will continually review the workload and review staffing / material levels, assist in the implementation of an MRP system, evaluate the impact of new designs on the manufacturing processes, recommend and implement process changes to reach production requirements. Ensure a positive work environment and awareness of company / manufacturing goals and objectives and to ensure that continuous improvements of the designs are seen through to a successful conclusion.

The successful candidate must have previous engineering experience, the ability to solve engineering problems, a proven track record of managing and delivering products within the manufacturing industry and experience within a production managers/supervisors position. You must be IT literate.
