  • This is an excellent opportunity to join the technical department of a large FMCG company.  Your role within the technical team will be to support manufacturing operations to ensure production levels, by working closely with personnel so as to drive continuous improvement of product and process. The role is pivotal in ensuring company compliance to product quality, safety and legal standards by applying your knowledge of FMCG industry standards and regulations, ingredients, packaging, processing and plant functionality.

    You will be directly responsible for supervising a small team, overseeing scheduled analytical testing of incoming raw materials and packaging and liaising with vendors and internal supply chain staff on matters of technical non-compliance.  Your key outputs will include safety, quality and hygiene, operations management, continuous improvement, people management and communication.

    Applications are invited from individuals with understanding of HACCP principles and Basic Food Hygiene; at least five years experience within a technical capacity for an FMCG manufacturing environment; IT skills; team leadership qualities and proven communication skills.
