Our Lowestoft based client is seeking a Financial Controller who is responsible to ensure that the directors and management have confidence that the accounts department is operating accurately and efficiently.

As Financial Controller your duties include the production of monthly management accounts and schedules, ensure all foreign tax records are maintained and liabilities paid and maintain the records regarding foreign currency bank accounts and the deposit account. You will make sure all control accounts are reconciled, these include the PAYE and VAT accounts, maintain fixed asset records, prepare year end schedules for the auditors and analyse the monthly credit card statement. As Financial Controller you will be responsible for all the financial aspects of the company, monitor aged debtors and ensure that any late payment of invoices are chased.

It is essential that the successful applicant has relevant accounting experience.
